Photochemical Reaction: Ammonium Oxalate and Iodine

Introduction:
Photochemical reactions are the chemical reactions that happen using the light energy. Photosynthesis in green plants is a photochemical reaction that converts light energy to chemical energy and uses carbon dioxide from the air to produce organic polymers such as cellulose and resins. Photosynthesis also has many commercial uses specially in photography, print and polymer technologies.

 Project description:
Photochemical reactions use the light energy to happen, however - sunlight is a combination of many color lights and each color light may have different properties and different photochemical effects. In this project we will research to see which light sources or which color light has the highest photochemical effect.
