Parts of a Bird (Display)
 Introduction:
For many years people have been amazed by the birds ability to fly. Later, people learned more about the birds, their food, their reproduction method (laying eggs) and their other abilities. Looking back at the history you will find that birds have been used for sending messages, hunting, fortune telling and much more. Some exotic birds are kept for their exceptional beauty and some domestic birds are farmed for human food.

Among the studies that have been done about birds are the studies of the bird's body parts. Obviously birds are very different from humans and other animals. Studying the body parts of a bird makes you able to identify different body parts and use their correct name where necessary.

 Material and instructions:
This is a research and display project. The display that you make may be used at the science fair or your classroom as an educational tool to teach others about the body parts of a bird. Make your drawings in large white paper. Paint it and mount it on your display board.
Make it nice and attractive by adding some real bones and feathers of an actual bird.
Details of this project:
More details of this project are available in the members section of ScienceProject.com web site. Since research on this subject has a long history, you may also be able to find good books about it in your local library or find some information on the internet.
