Erosion - Water causes erosion?
Introduction:
Erosion is the loss of soil from the land. It is a process that always occurs and causes damage to farmlands, roads and buildings.

When it rains, rivers and stream banks erode, adding soil and silt to the water. That is why river and pond water looks dirty when it rains.

Material and instructions:
In this project you will study the causes of erosion and see if it can be prevented. You will perform experiments to demonstrate erosion and effectiveness of any prevention method.
