Find an ink that would decompose
for recycling paper

Introduction:

With the growing oil industry and petrochemical industry, almost all inks and paints contain oil based polymers as binding agents. Such polymers are not decomposable and can create a permanent pollution where they are dumped. Large amounts of inks are used by print shops and publishers of magazines, newspapers and advertising brochures and those are the types of inks that you need to focus on.

 Project description:
In this project you collect different samples of ink to be tested for decomposition. You will design and perform experiments to compare different inks and find out which one can be decomposed or which one decomposes easier. You will also need to identify the factors that can accelerate the decomposition process.
