Factors affecting flowering

Introduction:

Whether a plant is cultivated for its flowers or its fruit, flowering is important to cultivators. Remember that all fruits start as a flower and to be more specific, a fruit is a part of the flower that holds the seeds. So basically, the more flowers that exist, the more the fruits will grow. Farmers and gardeners want to know the factors that affect flowering time and the flowering rate.

By learning about such factors, they can make necessary actions to increase their production.

In this project you will investigate the effect of one specific factor on flowering of one specific plant. You have many choices while selecting the specific plant and the specific factor that you want to study. In this project you will perform a plant growth experiment and record the plant's flowering related data.
