Group Membership

Introduction:

Group membership is available for schools, organizations, and other educational groups.

Group membership offers a saving to all group members, as well as supervision and a reporting option for the group manager. The group manager will be registered with ScienceProject.com and he or she can add other group members and create member ID and password for them.  

Benefits and Opportunities

Group membership is recommended for schools. This offers the students the opportunity to join in and be part of a world-wide science community. It also allows teachers or group managers to get reports of the activities of their own members. 

Basic Membership Groups

Recommended for small groups of 10 or more who need to become a Basic member. You become a group manager and will be able to add, upgrade or activate new Basic Members within one year and monitor their activity. 
A discount of 5% up to 30% applies to group membership orders larger than 10. 

You will have one year to use your membership credits by creating new membership accounts or upgrading any existing membership accounts.

Each Basic memberships that you create or activate allows a member to log in ScienceProject.com for one year, view up to 3 project guides and get support on one of the projects. When a basic membership expires, members will be able to renew their membership for additional terms by themselves or through a new group membership. 

Trial Membership Groups

Recommended for small groups of 10 or more who need to become a Trial member. You become a group manager and will be able to add, upgrade or activate new Trial Members within 90 days and monitor their activity. 
A discount of 5% up to 30% applies to group membership orders larger than 10. 

You will have 90 days to use your membership credits by creating new membership accounts or upgrading any existing membership accounts.

Each Trial memberships that you create or activate allows a member to log in ScienceProject.com for 90 days, view one project guide and get additional support on that project. When a Trial membership expires, members will be able to renew their membership for additional terms by themselves or through a new group membership. 

Tasks and responsibilities

Group manager will instruct the members to register on-line and get their own member ID and password. These member ids and passwords are initially inactive. Then group manager will activate their memberships through our on-line membership management system.

On-line management system

On-line management system will help you track the activity of your group members such as visits, projects, questions and etc. This system that part of it is under development now, offers you a variety of on-line reports.

The on-line management system will also handle student's questions and emails. Students do not need to know the email addresses of their project advisors. Instead they will use the automated system to submit their questions. The system will email each question along with information about the student such as age, grade, etc to the email address that we have in file from the project advisor for that specific project. Such questions may also appear in the Q&A section of each project.
